Vick Construction Worker?

According to his lawyer, Michael Vick says he's going to be a construction worker after he's released from prison. Does he realize construction workers don't make much? - especially compared to NFL quarterbacks. Is he just trying to be normal again? I guess we'll see how this works out for him.
